Dr. Alec Couros is a Professor of Educational Technology and Media at the University of Regina. An award-winning educator, he is internationally recognized for his expertise in generative AI in education, digital citizenship, critical media literacy, open education, and networked learning — work that actively shapes educational policy and practice across K–12 and higher education. He has delivered hundreds of workshops and presentations worldwide, supporting educators and institutions in navigating the evolving intersections of technology, pedagogy, and digital culture.
