Welcome to EC&I 831

Welcome to the course blog for EC&I 831: Social Media & Open Education, an open graduate course offered by the University of Regina, by Dr. Alec Couros. This blog is a companion to the course wiki found at http://eci831.wikispaces.com and will used for course news, announcements, resource sharing, weekly summaries, and to respond to student questions and concerns.

Students registered in this course for credit should should subscribe via RSS using an aggregator such as Google Reader. Not-for-credit participants are also encouraged to subscribe if so desired.

    Hi Dr. Couros,

    And where might one find the RSS feed link? Looking forward to this virtual (for me) course. Love the course video and your Gothic humor. Off to a great start.

    Hi Dennis,
    In Firefox, you should be able to see a blue RSS symbol as seen here:

    Does that appear for you? Let me know if you need any other help. There are also RSS tutorials and resources on the course wiki.

    All set. The Blue RSS symbol gave me the rss feed url I needed to subscribe in my Google Reader.
