Since 1999, I have developed and taught the two technology-integration courses in the program over 50 times. These are currently required courses in the Arts Education Program & Math Education subject area.
With Dr. Cyril Kesten, I am currently developing the EBTM (Business, Technology, & Media Education) strand in the Business Education subject area. We will be redeveloping ECMP 355 and ECMP 455, and developing four additional classes. These include: Media Literacy & Digital Citizenship, Digital Media Production, Leadership & Administration of Educational Technology, and Hardware, Software & Servers.
I am currently redeveloping the graduate educational technology offerings in the Curriculum and Instruction strand. With Vi Maeers, I have recently submitted changes to the course titles and descriptions. These courses include: Seminar on Curriculum & Information Technology, Social Media & Open Education, Emerging Media Literacies, Survey of Distance Education, and The Nature of Online Education.
I have also played an important role in program through the offering of specialized, technology-related presentations throughout all programs. A list of presentations I have offered in the Faculty of Education since 2007 is available here.
